As reported in the form of some interesting stats over on Yahoo Finance, a good 27.64% of Steam users have now upgraded their operating system to Windows 10 (both the 32 and 64-bit versions), with a notable increase of 3% compared to the numbers from last month. That's a steady migration in anyone's book.
While Windows 7 is still the most widely-used OS by players on Valve's digital platform, with 36% users on the 64-bit edition and 8.1% users going 32-bit, even the much-criticised Windows 8 is still very popular.
The statistics therefore show that Microsoft's operating systems are the most popular option for the vast majority of Steam's players (95.39%), with only against 3.54% of them being Mac OS X users (which also represents an increase, albeit a small one). That certainly doesn't leave many people using SteamOS...
While we're on the subject of Steam, on November 1 the platform set an impressive new record, with over 13 million users concurrently logging on to the platform.
