Activision has revealed some interesting facts and figures regarding Bungie's sci-fi shooter, Destiny. According to the company the number of registered players has risen considerably in the last three months, with the number rising from 20 to 25 million.
While the publisher stopped short of offering any information regarding the number of actual copies of the game sold, it's clear that the release of The Taken King has helped bump up the numbers.
"Day-one downloads broke PlayStation records, day-one engagement saw the highest number of active players in Destiny's history," the publisher said with regards to The Taken King's launch in September.
They also offered up the news that Guardians are still investing plenty of time into the game, and on a daily basis, with "player engagement now well above 3 hours per day."
One final fact before you go, according to Activision Destiny "has become the most watched console game on Twitch."
