Microsoft Larry Hryb, better known as Major Nelson, took to Twitter to confirm that the next major Xbox One update will start launching on November 12. The biggest and most important new feature is the addition of backward compatibility with a selection of Xbox 360 titles. This new feature that has been available via the preview program for some time will allow players to download compatible games they owned digitally on Xbox 360 free of charge or stick their old DVD into the drive to verify ownership.
