After some rumours that have been circulating in recent weeks, here comes an official announcement. At the end of October, YouTube will add a new service, called "YouTube Red", a subscription that costs $9.99 per month, which allows users to watch movies without advertisements, to download and to re-watch them offline whenever you want, and to access some exclusive content of important channels such as, for example, Pewdiepie's channel and his new show, called "Scare PewDiePie".
At the moment, the service is available only in the US, but it is very likely that it will arrive soon in Europe.
Thanks, Engadget.
