It's been pretty quiet from Trion for a while, but now they have detailed what they have been working on lately. First up is their MMO Heroes of Telara, which has seen a name change; based on tester feedback, where the game's Rift-system proved to be popular, the game is now called Rift: Planes of Telara and is still slated for release in 2011.
The company has also announced End of Nations, what they call "the world's first premium massively multiplayer online real-time strategy" (MMORTS). The game is in production at Petroglyph Studios, and will - at least according to the press release - contain both solo battles and battles in an open, persistant world.
And last up is a still unnamed game that Trion is working together with the SyFy Channel (formerly known as the Sci-Fi Channel). That game is based on an upcoming television series, and the game and the series are set to be connected - player actions are said to "influence the course of the show, and events occurring in the show will have consequences in the game." Exactly how that will work out is still unknown.
