Master Chief and Locke head to Minecraft

Xbox versions of the game get some new Halo DLC.

If you have Minecraft for either Xbox 360 or Xbox One then you can look forward to adding both Master Chief and Spartan Locke (and the other characters from both Blue Team and Fireteam Osiris) to the game.

This Halo 5: Guardians inspired DLC will be free to download if you already have the "Halo Edition mash-up ack" (which includes characters like Arbiter, Cortana and Sergeant Johnson, plus a new texture set, themed menus and user interface, craftable items, and 31 music tracks from the Halo franchise) that was released last year. Otherwise you'll have to pay $3.99/€3.79/£2.69. Here's a bunch of screenshots from the blocky but cute Spartan soldiers.
