In the warm-up to this year's holiday season, consumer analytics firm Nielsen have devised a list of the most anticipated games to be released the rest of the year.

The list displays each game with a rating illustrated by a percentage, based on data collected from over 4,800 gamers aging from 7 to 54 years old in the US. The percentages are set based on a number of key factors such as public awareness, purchase interest and consumer rating.

As far as muti-platform titles go, Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 unsurprisingly comes out on top, with a rating of as much as 98%. Just below we find Fallout 4 and Assassin's Creed: Syndicate with 95% each. Furthermore the new Need for Speed game lands at 92%, just ahead of Star Wars Battlefront with 88%.

These results are impressive, but even more noteworthy is the anticipation levels for the Xbox One exclusive Halo 5: Guardians, who received a perfect score of 100%. In other words, every single participant in the survey, who owns an Xbox One, showed interest in that particular game in some form, making it a far more sought after exclusive than Sony's heavy hitter for this holiday season. Namely Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, which is slated for PS4, and PS4 alone. Remains to be seen how this awareness and interest translates in terms of actual sales.
