With less than 20 days to go until the release of Halo 5: Guardians, Microsoft has announced that the game has gone gold. For those who don't know, that means the game's disc content has been completed and been sent to the factories for pressing.
According to the Xbox Wire this event is the culmination three-year journey for 343 Industries and the Halo team. The post also reveals that there will be a sizable update on day 1 with online multiplayer content for both Arena and the Warzone multiplayer mode. On the other hand the pre-download of the game will become available as soon as next week.
Halo 5: Guardians launches on Xbox One on October 27.
