Next week, on October 13, Bungie will reintroduce Tess Everis along with a new storefront and a fresh selection of items. The merchant will be there primarily to sell eighteen new emotes, similar to those that were already offered with the Collector's Edition of The Taken King.

This new content is completely optional and purely cosmetic (some Guardians like to dance, right). If you're interested you can by them with Silver, the new in-game currency that will be available for purchase through the PlayStation Store and on Xbox Live.

Bungie hasn't revealed the pricing just yet, but in its simplest terms it means that Destiny is getting microtransactions, however the developer stressed that this is just for optional stuff like the aforementioned emotes.

For the launch of the new system everyone is getting some Silver to try out one or two of the new emotes. For more details head here.

Don't be sad Tess, soon you'll be rich!
