Remedy's upcoming title Quantum Break has suffered from plenty of delays and changes, and hasn't been released despite being one of the first Xbox One games ever shown at the much criticised Xbox One reveal event (Quantum Break was probably one of few things at the conference that wasn't criticised). Now former Remedy employee Petri Häkkinen who works on Quantum Break on a consultant basis has revealed the game engine is being optimised. This was revealed on Twitter:

"Doing a consulting gig at remedy games helping them to optimize the rendering engine of Quantum Break. It's good to see many old friends!"

When a fan asked why the game needs more optimising since it is already looking great, Häkkinen replied:

"If nothing else, optimizing allows having even more polygons and objects on the screen"

We have no objections as long as Quantum Break sticks to its current release date of April 5, 2016.
