Yosuke Hayashi, the producer of Hyrule Warriors Legends, had a chat with Japanese game site 4Gamer.net this weekend, and from it we learned some nifty details about the 3DS version of the game.
First, Hyrule Warriors Legends will include codes for unlocking the characters Toon Link, Tetra and the King of Hyrule. Additionally more unlockable characters will be available in the game, but those will be revealed at a later time.
We also learned that the 3D effect will only be utilised in the game if you are using the New Nintendo 3DS or the New Nintendo 3DS XL, because the older versions of the console don't have the power to display the vast amount of enemies on top of stereoscopic 3D visuals.
Lastly, Hayashi confirmed that the game will be compatible with the popular Amiibo figures, without venturing into the details on this compatibility. That as well is being saved for a later date, but hopefully we'll hear more about it before the game is due for launch in Q1 of next year.
Cheers, Perfectly Nintendo.
