If you don't know who Nolan Bushnell is, you're probably still young and innocent. Go out play in the sun! Revel in your youth! For the rest of us old bitter people, Nolan Bushnell co-founded Atari together with Ted Dabney back in 1972. Bushnell left the company back in 1978, but now he's rejoining Atari's Board of Directors - replacing Phil Harrison.
Of course, Atari is not even the same company anymore, but it's still nice to see one of the grandfathers of all computer gaming - and one of the men behind Pong and the home console that got me into gaming (the Atari 2600) - return to the industry for real.
Why Phil Harrison left the Board is still unknown.
