Final Fantasy XIV is currently undergoing alpha testing, with a NDA protecting it firmly in place. This being the age of the Internet though, things always leak out and Final Fantasy XIV is not an exception. The player Pooky Poo does not only have the most awesome character name ever, he or she also decided to break the NDA and leak the full Alpha Tester manual on the net - together with videos filmed from inside the game itself.
The material is up on Kotaku and on a blog on Blogspot, and includes the videos mentioned above. They are well-worth checking out, and even though this is purely alpha footage it might give a hint or two of how the game will look and play once it's out later this year. At first glance it does look a lot like a modern version of Final Fantasy XI, which at least to me is a good thing...
