Of course, they'll likely partner up with someone for Cyberpunk 2077.

Earlier today a rumour slipped through the cracks of the internet from an anonymous source, stating that CD Projekt RED, the developer behind the critically acclaimed The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077, are in talks with Electronic Arts about a publishing deal. The rumour wasn't really taken seriously to begin with, but CD Projekt RED Community Lead Marcin Momot, still had the time to answer a concerned fan on Twitter.

A fan asked: "signing a publishing deal with EA? Please let this be just a stupid internet rumour."

To which Momot answered: "Just bumped into Marcin IwiƄski - it was new to him. I guess the "informer" has better insight than the @CDPROJEKTRED founder. :)"

So there you have it, although some fans are calling the tweet a misdirection more than actual denial, so the rumour lives on.
