Not even Mario could dislodge Metal Gear Solid V from number one in the UK retail charts this week, in spite of MGSV dropping a massive 78% of its first week sales in the second week. In fact, Super Mario Maker became the fourth biggest release on Wii U (Mario Kart 8 , Super Smash Bros. and Nintendo Land holding the top 3). The other big late summer releases Mad Max, Until Dawn, Disney Infinity 3.0 and Gears of War: Ultimate Edition continue to do well.

One game that did not set retail on fire was Media Molecule's PS4 adaptation of the of the PS Vita exclusive Tearaway. Tearaway Unfolded landed in modest positions (33 - all formats, 19 - individual formats) for a high-profile PS4 exclusive.
