Charts: Metal Gear Solid V tops retail charts

PS4 sales dominate as The Phantom Pain finally hits store shelves.

There's no question what platforms MGS fans prefers as the retail charts for last week's retail video games sales in the UK have been released. The PS4 version accounted for a whopping 72% of all sales of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain with Xbox One getting 22% - last-gen formats are massively outpaced with the PS3 version capturing 3% and Xbox 360 2%. The PC version barely registered, but surely PC gamers buy their games via Steam these days. Warner Bros. celebrated second place for Mad Max from Avalanche Studios, while last week's number one Gears of War: Ultimate Edition fell to third (-64%).
