The latest numbered entry for the legal soap opera that is the Ace Attorney series was announced the day before yesterday, and now, as expected, more details are popping up before its full unveil at Tokyo Game Show (in two week's time).

Take a look below at the first bunch of screenshots and artwork for the Nintendo 3DS game, some from the official site and some from 4Gamer (and via NeoGaf):

The same source translates some Japanese info pointing at a new country setting with no modern law ("the country has no defense attorneys and judges rely on 'oracles of spirits' to deliver verdicts") and the pictures actually portray a very different courtroom, with fans already speculating on the potential return of the spiritual Fey clan.

In other, related and expected news, Capcom has officially confirmed what fans feared that The Great Ace Attorney, the most recent effort by series creator Shu Takumi, is not planned for an European or American launch. Fans keep objecting (of course), but seems like Capcom is only willing to localise the main series for Western audiences.
