Orcs Must Die! 2 dated

Sequel to be fully co-op.

Robot Entertainment has today announced that Orcs Must Die! 2 is set to be released on July 30.

Orcs Must Die! is a tower defence game (of sorts) that has attracted a strong and dedicated fan base. The sequel promises to expand on the original in every way, with more traps, more enemies and a new upgrade system.

The story picks up where the first left off, with the War Mage fighting off a horde of orcs. Enter a new character, the Sorceress, who uses magic to keep her enemies at bay. The new character means the sequel can be played entirely in co-op, which is sure to add to the game's appeal.

As a bonus, players who own the original will unlock exclusive content if they buy the sequel too.
