YouTube is today launching their new YouTube Gaming streaming site, with the online service and its companion apps (on both iOS and Android) due to drop later today, August 26.
The service will allow gamers to watch others streaming their gameplay, similar to Twitch, although there will be a DVR Mode that allows viewers to rewind and catch anything that they may have missed.
Following the announcement, YouTube Gaming took to Twitter to announce their arrival, saying that "a new player has entered the game." They were subsequently expertly trolled by Twitch, who responded by saying: "Welcome Player 2. Add me on Google+. #kappa"
