Earth Defense Force 4.1: The Shadow of New Despair is coming out in Europe on PS4. Publisher PQube announced confirmed that it will be available later this year. Earth Defense Force 4.1: The Shadow of New Despair is a complete re-imagining of the previously released Earth Defense Force 2025.
There are 100 levels to defend in solo mode, couch co-op, or online with up to three friends. Use tanks, helicopters, jetpacks, air bikes, armoured rail guns, and giant robots to take on the invading alien force. Open levels with lots to destroy.
Meanwhile, PS Vita owners aren't left behind as they're getting Earth Defense Force 2: Invaders from Planet Space (a remaster of Global Defence Force 2, previously available on PS2). Bring on the bugs!
