Multiplayer added to Dirt Rally

Early Access just got competitive.

Codemasters have announced that Dirt Rally has gotten more serious with the introduction of the all-new multiplayer rallycross mode, free to download now for all Early Access players. From today, drivers will not just be racing against the clock, but against fellow Dirt Rally owners from around the world. We also got some fresh screenshots (below).

Here's a brief over view of the cars and tracks available for multiplayer rallycross at the moment.

The cars:
- DS 3 (Newly added today)
- Subaru WRX STI (Newly added today)
- MINI Countryman Rallycross (Newly added today)
- Ford Fiesta WRX
- Volkswagen Polo Rallycross
- Peugeot 208 WRX

The tracks:
- Hell, Norway (Newly added today)
- Lydden Hill, United Kingdom
- Höljes, Sweden
