Fallout 4 is certainly one of the most anticipated games of the year, and it’s landing on PS4, Xbox One and PC on November 10. When it does arrive, it’s fair to say that it’s going to be a success, but just how much so remains to be seen.

Bethesda marketing man Pete Hines has been speaking about the post-apocalyptic RPG’s prospects, saying that the game has the potential to be even bigger than their last major role-playing game, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

“I think this can top Skyrim,” Hines told MCV. “It could be our biggest release ever. But we will see. It is part of my job to build the megaphone that we hold up to the game, and the game decides how loud it goes. Just how big it is going to be is hard to say. Skyrim was a massively big deal.”

Another game that’s proved successful for the publisher is spinoff mobile title Fallout Shelter. Hines, however, dismissed claims that the game - which recently launched on Android - will end up more successful than Fallout 4: “No way. Not even close,” he told the site.
