After the success of Divinity: Original Sin and following the release of the highly acclaimed game (or rather Enhanced Edition of the game) for PS4 and Xbox One in October, Larian Studios is looking for the next challenge. Today they announced Divinity: Original Sin II, which is supposed to be an even more ambitious RPG.

The Belgian developer is once again taking the Kickstarter route, but this time we can suggest which rewards we want to see offered. The campaign starts on August 26th. The voting and and feedback can be left at this website. At the end of the month Larian Studios will be at PAX Prime and show a prototype of Divinity: Original Sin II and highlighting some unique features.

After the announcement some fans wondered why they are looking for Kickstarter funds again, after the success of the first game:

Larian Studios Founder, Swen Vincke, took to his blog to explain. The uber-short version would be that "Divinity: Original Sin wouldn't be the game it was without the input from our Kickstarter backers & Steam Early Access players. There were a lot of them and they pushed us forwards in directions we hadn't anticipated when we started development."

So that's it. Larian needs your help once more.
