Fallout 4 will no doubt give players a vast array of things to do outside of the main campaign. For this reason some fans have been worried about the game's ending. Will it be abrupt and final, or will we get the opportunity to continue exploring and having fun?

Now the answer to this question has been given, courtesy of developer and publisher Bethesda Softworks. As it turns out you will be able to continue your game after the main story is over and done with, giving you the option finish the story at your own leisure with no fears of the repercussions. Your character level will be intact, as well as all of your upgrades and available side missions.

It would seem Bethesda has once and for all has put the abrupt ending of previous Fallout games behind them, opting for an approach where players can keep playing for as long as they like without a restart. This is the case in games like The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, but not in previous Fallout games.

Fallout 4 hits stores on November 10, for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
