Sales have been abysmal, and week after week Xbox One is selling no more than a few hundred units in Japan. Despite this, Microsoft doesn't seem to have given up, and will have two separate Xbox One events in the country as they aim to turn around their fortunes.
One's in Tokyo on September 26, and then there's another in Osaka on October 4. So far nothing has been revealed as to what will be shown, but a reasonable guess is that there will be a few Japanese indie games to be announced. Considering that Microsoft won't be at Tokyo Game Show this year, we shouldn't expect anything major, even though we hope we're proven wrong.
