Are Bungie preparing to release Destiny on PC? The evidence is encouraging, although far from conclusive. A new job listing posted by the studio is advertising for a "PC compatibility tester", someone who can "evaluate PC hardware-specific features and ensure various systems work together across multiple PC configurations to provide a great experience."

Of course they might be looking to make some sort of companion app, or even an entirely new game, but that won't stop players that have been eagerly awaiting the online shooter's arrival on PC from getting excited.

Activision's Eric Hirshberg last year described the game as a good fit for PC, at the time saying: "it's something that's a heavy point of discussion."

"You know, developing on PC is a different animal than developing for consoles and so we just want to make sure that we're putting one foot in front of the other and getting it right, and that it's of the highest possible quality. But obviously I see the same things about the natural fit."

With The Taken King coming next month (shortly after Destiny's first birthday), are Bungie at long last trying to bring the game to PC? Given the lack of official comment, we're going to have to wait and see.
