Bioware is a studio that, over the years, has produced many great RPGs. These include such titles as Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter Nights and Mass Effect. But now some of its veteran game designers have started off on their own path by creating Mooncrest. The game is currently in Kickstarter, and they're seeking funding of $400k.

Mooncrest sounds like an interesting title, as it promises to combine real-time combat as seen in the Souls-series, with challenging puzzle solving (the team wants to integrate puzzles usually seen in adventure games).

The story revolves around two women. Sera is raised as a paladin, while Pirotase is an outcast living in the streets. The duo's dynamic is at the centre of the story, and Sera's actions and conversations directly affect Pirotase's behaviour.

If you're interested in Mooncrest, have a look at their Kickstarter page for more details.
