Danish IO Interactive, the makers of games like Hitman and Kane & Lynch: Dead Men, have let 35 of their 200 employees go. The reason for this is supposed to be that their services are no longer needed, since the projects the developer is working on have moved into other phases. Sadly, this is the way the games industry usually work but it's always a bit sad to see people losing their jobs.
