Jesse Rapczak, founder of Studio Wildcard and producer for ARK: Survival Evolved, had some interesting info to share regarding console specs during a interview over at GamingBolt.
After revealing both PS4 and Xbox One are easy consoles do develop for (admiting last-gen's Xbox 360 was far easier then PS3), Rapczak also revealed that Xbox One's CPU is superior to PS4's one.
Sony's console, on the other hand, as a stronger GPU, but neither seems to make a big difference regarding ARK: Survival Evolved:
"That's not to say that it runs better on the Xbox or PlayStation, but the PlayStation having a little bit more powerful GPU is offset by the fact that our game requires a lot of CPU to run well. It's kind of a balance between the two right now for different reasons."
ARK: Survival Evolved will be launched in 2016 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. It's currently available on PC via Early Access, and if you want to run the game at full speed, you'll need a ridiculously powerful rig (but at least it looks very pretty). Our recent preview can be found here.
