A video for something called Star Wars VR - developed by director Rob McLellan and produced by Hammerhead VR is turning heads. The teaser reproduces faithful renditions of classic scenes from the original trilogy. Star Wars VR uses Unreal Engine 4.

While the project is referred to as a fan project and that it is non-profit, there are clearly legal ramifications here and it is hard to imagine that Disney will sit idly by. Nevertheless it's a nice peek at what might be if Disney themselves greenlights a major VR project with Star Wars.
