US prices a bit over the top, perhaps?

Microsoft is getting ready to release the update for Xbox 360 which will allow you to use USB memory sticks for your machine instead of memory cards. Of course they will take the opportunity to release their own brand of sticks at the same time - complete with Xbox logo and color.

Seems like the logo is pretty expensive to print, though. Kotaku has sniffed up what the official sticks will cost. For $40 you'll get 8gb worth of memory, while $70 will net you 16gb (which is the max amount of memory the Xbox 360 can handle). Which we hardly have to point out is a bit more than USB memory sticks usually cost.
