At this year's E3 expo it was revealed that Platinum Games' Kenji Saito is already hard at work on his next game after Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. The game in question is action title Transformers: Devastation, and it's due for release in just a few months.
Because of this talks have started on the subject of the next project once the Decepticons are taken care of, and personally Saito would like to make Platinum's first game based on anime.
More specifically Saito is keen on a Kill La Kill or Berserk game, and not something based off the Gatchaman franchise or Tatsunoko's Karas OVA as suggested by a fan on Twitter.
Whether these are just dreams or actual plans for the future, remains to be seen. Kill La Kill is a relatively new comedy animee from 2013, while Berserk has it's roots in manga from the 90s.
Thanks, Polygon.
