Pac-Man is from outer space

On Saturn's moon Mimas, actually

The Cassini spacecraft is currently in orbit around Saturn, and has taken some interesting pictures of the moon Mimas' surface; measuring heat differences on the surface, a picture that looks strangely similar to Pac-Man emerges.

BBC writes that scientists are not sure why Mimas "should display such variations but say it is probably related to the diversity of textures in the surface materials." Another, more probable (and most importantly, more fun), explanation would be "waka-waka-waka".

A gamer version of Cydonia, the so-called "face on Mars"? We'd like to think so.

Waka-waka-waka-waka!
