Ever since the tech demo was first shown at the PS3 reveal fans have been eagerly awaiting news of a Final Fantasy VII remake. It took a while, but at the Sony press conference at E3 last month Square Enix finally unveiled a remake of what is generally considered the best Final Fantasy game.
The E3 trailer only says "play it first on PlayStation 4", which led us to believe that PC and Xbox One versions were to follow. Now EB Games Australia have listed a Xbox One version of the game for pre-order. A via Facebook a customer rep confirmed as much as the game was indeed heading to Xbox One - just that PS4 had "early access" (via a Kingdom Hearts forum).
There is no official word from Square Enix regarding additional platforms, as they have not been ready to reveal them just yet.
