Last Friday, with usually crowded and rushed E3 presentations/hands-on tests now a thing of recent past, we could take a closer, more quiet and comprehensive look at Forza Motorsport 6, during an exclusive event held by Ford and Microsoft at Circuito del Jarama in Madrid. With a presentation, product manager interview, playseat-powered demo units and some more driving time available, we got some good additional details and impressions on the game.

"I've got to see that, again, we're really focused on Motorsport on the asphalt racing with four-tyre cars", said Chris Bishop, Forza Franchise Product Manager, during the post-hands-on interview, when asked by GR whether the Forza Horizon 2 experience inspired the team to try rally or cross-road racing. "So that's what we're focusing on, just trying to deliver that experience as accurately and as best we can".

"Our goal is to make a new Forza every year. And what's great is having this two world-class studios, Playground Games working on the Horizon series and Turn 10 focused on the Motorsport series, so I think you can continue to expect a great new game every year", he confirmed later on keeping franchise approach announced back in the day for the next few years.

Besides, Bishop mentioned the evolution of the Forza Tech engine in the last years and the further exploration of the console's hardware, "which allowed us to add night/wet while maintaining 1080p/60fps" on Xbox One, and later the non-commitment to the PC community yet, even if "Windows 10 opens up new possibilities to see more integration" in the near future.
