As reported on OAMI - The Office for Harmonisation in the Internal Market (via NeoGAF), Capcom have registered a trademark for Umbrella Corps, the fictional biotechnology company that fans will know from the Resident Evil series.
At the moment further details have yet to surface regarding the registration of this trademark, or if it has been registered only as a precaution to prevent third-party companies from snagging the name.
Maybe the trademark is tied to Resident Evil 0 HD Remaster, or who knows, maybe even for the anticipated Resident Evil 7, a game we missed during the last E3. We look forward to hearing more information from Capcom.
