Dying Light's #DrinkForDLC campaign gathers pace

What started as a joke is steadily turning into a thing.

Last week Techland started poking fun at Bungie and Activision's campaign with Red Bull that will see North American energy drinking Destiny players get access to additional content for the upcoming expansion, The Taken King.

Since then their own joke campaign has started attracting plenty of attention, and with the revised hashtag #DrinkForDLC, Techland are now promising additional content for players who continue to drink water and then share their exploits via social media.

Microsoft's Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb got involved posting his own contribution on Vine, and if the campaign can continue to gather support before its conclusion at the end of July, players will get the new content (and not just an XP boost) before the end of the year.
