Top Gear as an important part of the presentation when it came to Forza Motorsport 5, and it looks like the association between the two brands is going to continue with the next entry in the racing series.
Richard Hammond and James May might have gone down with the sinking ship that is Jeremy Clarkson's Top Gear career (if you don't know, he was sacked after punching a colleague during filming), but they're still going to lend their voices to the upcoming Forza Motorsport 6.
"We have a great relationship with Top Gear," creative director Bill Giesesaid told Videogamer. "We'll include their Top Gear Track. The producers and writers have come up with some really cool Showcase events for us as well. Jeremy Clarkson will not be a part of the game.
"What's great about [Hammond and May] is they give the automotive passion to tell you why these cars are so important. And then you've got things like Showcase events where we've got a tonne of professional race car drivers, and they're doing all sorts of stuff: Endurance to Autocross, being able to give these players this sense of [there being] so much to motorsport."
It's not clear whether new Top Gear host Chris Evans will be involved or not. With Forza 6 due on Xbox One on September 15, we don't have long to wait before we'll know for sure.
