Ever since Sony's exclusive deal on Street Fighter V was announced, it has been declared that the game won't be released for the Xbox One. Not now, not later.
A lot of people have speculated that later editions like 'Super' or 'Ultra' - and they will come, Capcom doesn't even try to hide this fact - will be released for the Xbox One instead, a clever way of leaving Street Fighter V exclusive for Playstation 4 (and PC). Now a Capcom representative has shot those speculations down by clearly stating:
"One comment we see a lot is that something like a Super Street Fighter 5 is going to come out on Xbox. But the reality is that this is a real partnership. We are console exclusive for this franchise for this numbered run."
So there you have it. No Street Fighter V for the Xbox One in any way. That's pretty mighty deal for Sony who now has locked up a big chunk of the fighting community to PlayStation 4.
Gamereactor had the chance to play Street Fighter V a few weeks ago and shared our impressions in a pretty massive preview yesterday. Take alook at all the fighting joy that awaits you at this link.
