Oculus VR finally revealed their controller strategy for Oculus Rift today at their press conference ahead of E3. The first of the two part strategy was to simply include a wireless Xbox One controller (with adapter) with every purchase of Oculus Rift (launching Q1 2016). Xbox boss Phil Spencer took to the stage to announced that this won't be the only Xbox-related feature with Oculus Rift. A big part of Microsoft's push with Windows 10 and its gamer friendly disposition is the ability to stream Xbox One games to PC with Windows 10. Spencer revealed that you will also be able to stream these games to your Oculus Rift.
We're left wondering what the benefit will be for Xbox One titles on Oculus Rift, presumably they'll not have VR specific tweaks or features, but nevertheless it shows a glimmer of VR interest from Microsoft who up until now have been non-committal.
