The fifth (and final?) player character in Warhammer: The End Times - Vermintide has been revealed in a dev blog by Fatshark. We already knew about Victor Saltzpyre (witch hunter), Kerillian (Waywatcher), Markus Kruber (Empire Soldier) and Sienna Feugonasus (Bright Wizard). The latter has yet to receive the dev blog treatment, but was one of the first characters shown. Now Dwarf Ranger Bardin Goreksson joins the cast.
Interestingly Bardin will provide players with a slightly different perspective of the battlefield thanks to his height:
"If we were going to let player assume the identity of Bardin, we wanted to make sure that they really feel like they were stepping into his shoes. To accomplish this, we set his first person perspective a head shorter than everyone else's, giving the player the feeling of actually seeing the world through the eyes of a Dwarf. Bardin is therefore about the same height as the oncoming Skaven swarm, putting him in eye level with his foes and therefore even more into the heat of the battle."

Bardin is described as a damage dealer up close with a preference for hammers and axes. From range players can either chose for accurate and deadly weapons (handgun, crossbow) or something like the Grudge-raker that deals area damage at fairly close range.
