The latest issue of Game Informer has revealed some interesting details regarding Halo 5: Guardians, the Xbox One exclusive that's due to land on October 27.
For starters the Master Chief will be joined by the rest of the fabled Blue Team (that's Linda, Kelly and Fred), and the Spartan II squad will do as directed by John 117 in solo play, and in co-op players will take one character each, and in doing so will assume control over a unique loadout.
We already knew that ONI agent Jameson Locke would be a playable character hunting for Master Chief, but now we know that he'll be recruiting his own team - Fireteam Osiris - and it'll include a returning character, ODST Edward Buck (who was played by Nathan Fillion in Halo 3: ODST). Expect more news on the above and more next week at E3.
