According to The Guardian, one of the most anticipated titles of recent years, The Last Guardian, is heading to E3 this year, with the site claiming that "we have it on very good authority that this will be the year that Team Ico finally presents its follow-up to much loved classics Ico and Shadow of the Colossus."

The development of Team Ico's game has been plagued with delays and subsequent doubt, with the latest round of rumours suggesting that the game had been cancelled, before Sony once again confirmed that it is still in development. Of course we'll have to wait for Sony's press conference before we'll know for sure, and if this report is true and we do get to see the game for the first time in years, it'll be interesting to see what it's looking like after an extended period of secretive development.

Update

As posted over on Neogaf, there's a rumour circulating that Mark Cerny and his team (Knack) are helping wrap up development of The Last Guardian. No doubt we'll find out more about this and other reports during E3 next week.
