It's been known that Starbreeze, the Swedish development studio behind games like The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay and The Darkness, has been working on two projects for a while now (one of them rumored being a new version of the classic Syndicate). In a press release, the company has announced that it's shutting down production on one of these projects; without mentioning what it was, of course.
The company is not firing anyone, instead they are shuffling people over from the cancelled project to the one that's still active. It's believed that the cancelled project is the new Bourne-game that Starbreeze is supposed to have been involved in. The game was only in pre-production, so I guess we can pretty much assume they are still working on their mysterious Project RedLime (whatever that might turn out to be).
