Reports are emerging that Sony may be another notable absentee from this year's Gamescom.
SCE's German communications director Guido Alt told GamesIndustry.biz that the decision on whether to attend the convention has yet to be made.
"We have to judge if it makes sense to exhibit at gamescom every year," he said. "We are still negotiating... What I can say is that we did not sign a contract so far."
Nintendo has already declared their intention not to attend the annual event, and it is possible that Sony are using their position to negotiate costs down.
