Carmageddon: Reincarnation has been funded on Kickstarter, attracting $625,143 USD, smashing their original target of $400k.
Developers Stainless Games will use the extra cash to develop the game on Linux OS and on Mac, as well as the already planned PC version.
Patrick Buckland, Stainless co-founder and CEO said, "This result is way beyond our expectations, and shows again how fantastic this crowd funding model can be for the independent developer. Interestingly, Stainless Games are the first UK-based devs to get funded via Kickstarter.
