It seems like Sony are planning to release a new PlayStation 4 model with less power consumption and a bigger harddrive (1 terabyte), according to new documents from US Federal Communications Commission (FCC). These kind of revisions are common place, but the 1TB harddrive is no doubt a switch that future owners of PS4 will appreciate.
The announcement will most likely happen at E3, where you typically reveal upcoming bundles and hardware configurations. The current models have a power consumption of 250W and 2.5-1.15A, while the new ones are listed at 230W and 2.3-0.95A which of course is great news for both wallet and environment.
