When Halo 3: ODST was to be released, the process through which Bungie split from Microsoft was already well under way. Bungie took that opportunity to hide a Destiny easter egg in the game, proof that at least some ideas and work on the game had commenced back in 2009 when ODST was released.
Now Halo 3: ODST has been released for the Xbox One, but those looking to find this Destiny easter egg will be disappointed. Instead, Microsoft has removed the plaque saying "Destiny awaits" with a more generic <i>"For her".
