Most of you are patiently waiting for more content for Grand Theft Auto V, and after teases on this very subject going back a couple of years, it's certainly on the cards.
That said, Strauss Zelnick, CEO of Take-Two Interactive, doesn't seem to be sure if anything is planned at all. During last night's call to investors (via Gamespot) he was asked by one analyst for information regarding the story-based DLC for GTAV.
His answer was actually quite surprising: "No, we haven't discussed any story-based downloadable content. We did talk about the Heists and they've been released," said Zelnick.
"But I am correct in remembering that you had talked about that around the launch of the game," questioned the analyst.
"Uhh, we have different recollections," the Take-Two CEO replied.
In a later statement, a representative said to the same site that Zelnick misspoke during the call and added the following clarification:
"As over a year ago Rockstar Games had said that they were exploring story mode content for Grand Theft Auto V; however, no further information has been released since. As always, we leave it to Rockstar Games to share information about their games when they're ready."
Hopefully Rockstar and Take-Two can remember this potential DLC in time for E3 next month, as we'd really like to know what's planned for GTAV.
