Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot has told investors and analysts that the company will no longer develop games for old generation consoles. Namely, the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. With the exception of the Just Dance series.
"On Just Dance, we will continue to bring old-gen console versions. But on the other products like Assassin's Creed, Rainbow Six, The Division, and the unannounced franchise, we will not have old-gen versions."
In the future, they will focus solely on developing their games for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. That also leaves Wii U out, and it is unknown whether Ubisoft will support it with future core titles.
